Halloween Creativity Using Corrugated Cardboard<\/strong><\/h1>\n

It is that time of year when ghosts come out to haunt us and we go around the neighbourhood for \u201etrick or treat\u201d. Packaging can also be used to make decorations<\/a> that are more or less frightening, spooky costumes and haunted houses made from cardboard<\/a>. We have selected some of our favourites and described them in detail below.<\/p>\n

All Hallows Eve<\/strong>
\nHalloween dates back more than 2,000 years and was celebrated as a Celtic festival called Samhain to mark the end of summer. It was believed that at this time of year, the space between the world of the living and the dead became blurred, and spirits had to pass through this supernatural period. Originally known as \u201eAll Hallows Eve\u201d, the name gradually evolved into \u201eHalloween\u201d, as we know it today.<\/p>\n

It is more popular than ever, with an estimated 25% of us carving pumpkins and spending money on pumpkins during this period. But if you have cardboard boxes and packaging around the house, they are excellent for craft projects. You can create some impressive Halloween decorations, including a cardboard pumpkin. With some basic craft materials and a little creativity, you can make something beautiful while also saving money.<\/p>\n

Spooky Home Decorations<\/strong>

Cardboard Pumpkin<\/strong>
\nIf you want a spooky pumpkin but cannot buy a real one, take a look at this cardboard pumpkin<\/a> alternative. Using two cardboard boxes<\/a>, you can cut out the entire shape in cardboard with a knife or cutter and then glue the pieces together to create an impressive pumpkin-head shape. Once you have built it, you can decorate it with bright orange paint and other decorations. Place a sheet of crumpled foil inside and illuminate it with an electric light that imitates candlelight!<\/p>\n

Sweets Dispenser<\/strong>
\nFor something simpler, this sweets dispenser is made from a cardboard box<\/a>. It is easy to make and you only need a cardboard box<\/a>, some paint, glue and a cutter to create the facial features. It will add something extra to any home decorated for Halloween.<\/p>\n

Cardboard Tombstones<\/strong>
\nFor an outdoor decoration, let us take a look at these cardboard tombstones. They are so simple to make from a few sheets of cardboard and newspaper. Once you have created the structure, you can paint and decorate it, adding fun and spooky messages for everyone to see as they approach.<\/p>\n

Haunted Pet Houses<\/strong>
\nFinally, for pet lovers, we like these cardboard houses<\/a>. Whether you have a dog or a cat, you can make a small house with a spooky feel. The house only needs a few cardboard boxes, a little creativity and glue. It can be decorated with a pen or paint, and you can even add a spider, as shown in the video below.<\/p>\n

If you are a cat lover, this cute house uses a large cardboard box<\/a> and a medium-sized box to create an impressive structure. In the video, roof tiles, shutters, trees and fences are added using extra pieces of cardboard and paper, which really enhance the spooky atmosphere.<\/p>\n
