What does palletization mean?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Palletization is the process of storing and transporting goods on pallets<\/strong><\/a>. Palletization provides a standardized way to handle and transport palletized goods using mechanical equipment.<\/p>\n

The solution for safe transport is to deliver goods on pallets, both nationally and internationally. Palletization allows shipments to be divided when trucks or containers are overloaded.<\/p>\n

Most transport companies charge according to pallet volume. In general, palletization increases the transport volume by 20-30%. To keep pallets at the recommended minimum volume, you should use standard packaging boxes<\/a> <\/strong>, thereby occupying all the space on the pallets, neither more nor less.<\/p>\n

Once arranged on pallets, boxes can be secured with stretch film<\/a><\/strong> (resistant to environmental conditions, it secures and protects products on pallets, and is flexible and extensible), pallet strapping<\/a><\/strong> (ensures constant tightening tension throughout all stages of handling the strapped package), aluminium shields<\/a><\/strong> (ideal for the maritime transport and container transport of materials that must be protected from moisture, corrosion and salt) or thermal insulation covers<\/a><\/strong> (for insulating pallets and protecting them from excessively high or low temperatures).<\/p>\n

What difference does it make whether products are arranged in columns or in a brick pattern? 1. Choose the right pallet<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pallets come in different sizes and are made from various materials. Make sure you choose one that suits both the type of goods and the size of the boxes in which they are transported, so that forklifts can handle them.<\/p>\n

2. Always place the heaviest items at the bottom<\/strong><\/p>\n

This will provide pallet stability and distribute the weight of the materials correctly, preventing them from becoming deformed.<\/p>\n
