Interpack 2023 – Insights from the Global Packaging Industry

Held every three years in Düsseldorf, Interpack – the largest international exhibition dedicated to packaging and related processes – brings together more than 2,800 key companies from around the world at the exhibition centre. Whether from Europe, Asia, Africa, America or Australia, exhibitors at Interpack 2023 come from all five continents, making the event the ideal meeting place for potential customers and partners.

The latest innovations from the global packaging industry will be presented from 4–10 May 2023, with the event organised by Messe Düsseldorf.

1. Why is it important to attend Interpack 2023?

Interpack is a meeting place for professionals from around the world who want to discover the latest technologies and solutions in packaging, as well as food and beverage processing. In 2017, Interpack recorded an impressive number of participants: 2,865 companies and 170,899 visitors, setting new records during 4–10 May 2023: 2,866 exhibitors from 55 countries, across an exhibition area of 253,200 sq m. The main exhibiting countries include Germany, Italy, China, Turkey, India, the USA, France, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, among others.

2. Topics and main sectors at Interpack 2023

Interpack 2023 will cover the entire processing and packaging chain, from production to packaging processes and distribution, through to product quality assurance:

• Packaging materials and consumables;
• Packaging machinery and processing technology for the food, beverage, confectionery, bakery, pharmaceutical/cosmetics sectors, as well as for non-food and industrial products.
