Anti-Corrosion Packaging

At the beginning of the year, we introduced a new category of protective packaging products, which provide not only standard product protection but also protection against rust. This new product category is called VCI packaging (volatile corrosion inhibitor) and includes: VCI stretch film, VCI bags and covers for corrosion protection, VCI corrosion protection bags, VCI zip bags, VCI expanded polyethylene film, VCI bubble wrap, VCI aluminium barrier film, as well as VCI desiccants and VCI emitters.

VCI products protect against metal oxidation by creating a protective layer on the metal surface. Thanks to the corrosion inhibitor added directly to the product, packaging with VCI products provides highly effective corrosion protection. The additive is released gradually, forming a protective film that reaches all cavities and hard-to-access areas. VCI packaging is recyclable and eco-friendly, and does not harm human health, nature or water.

VCI aluminium barrier film is a three-layer film made by combining aluminium with other materials to protect products from atmospheric and environmental factors. Strong and effective, this three-layer film is part of the VCI product range.

It is ideal for maritime transport and for transporting containers of materials that must be protected against moisture, corrosion and salt, such as electrical cabinets, mechanical equipment, etc.

VCI emitters are easy-to-apply corrosion inhibitor emitters. In an enclosed space, such as metal cabinets or electronic product housings (computers, electrical panels), they protect copper contacts and alloys, silver and other metals against corrosion.

Thanks to the double-sided adhesive strip applied to the back of each VCI emitting capsule, they can be placed in any free space inside the electronic product housing. VCI emitters are available in two different sizes (type 5 and type 11) and with different protection capacities.
